Patrice Čović will leave SV Werder Bremen on loan, joining second-tier side Dynamo Dresden until the end of the season.

“We have full faith in Patrice. At the same time, it is our responsibility to consider what represents the best next step for his continued development. The aim now is for him to gain regular playing time at a high level. That is why, together with Patrice, we decided that a loan move was the right option. Dresden offers an excellent environment for him to take the next leap in his career. We will support him throughout that process,” explained Peter Niemeyer, head of professional football at Werder.

Čović joined SV Werder Bremen’s academy from Hertha BSC in 2024. With the Green-Whites’ U19 side, he won the youth DFB-Pokal in 2025 before making his first-team debut in August of the same year, featuring for SVW in both the DFB-Pokal and the Bundesliga. The 19-year-old has made 16 appearances in Germany’s top flight to date, scoring once.
