Keke Topp out for the rest of the season

SV Werder Bremen will have to go without another player for the final stretch of the season. Forward Keke Topp suffered a serious knee injury during training on Thursday. An MRI scan carried out on Thursday afternoon revealed a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
“For all of us, but especially for Keke, this news is a very bitter pill to swallow. We will support him with all the means at our disposal as he begins what will be a long road to recovery,” said head of professional football Peter Niemeyer.
