SV Werder Bremen have extended Wesley Adeh’s contract, with the 19-year-old midfielder also set to spend the coming season on loan at third-tier side Preußen Münster. Peter Niemeyer, head of professional football, confirmed the move on Tuesday.
“Wesley took his first steps in senior football last season while still eligible for the U19s. We’re fully convinced of his potential, and the important thing now is for him to gain more match practice at a higher level. We see the loan to Preußen Münster as a good opportunity for him to do exactly that,” said Niemeyer.
Adeh has been at SV Werder Bremen since 2019 and has progressed through several age groups in the club’s academy. As captain, he led the Green-Whites’ U19s to the Youth DFB-Pokal title in 2025. The Bremen-born midfielder made 12 appearances in the fourth-tier Regionalliga Nord last season, scoring once, and was named in the Bundesliga matchday squad on three occasions.
