Isak Hansen-Aarøen is wearing a green and white shirt and white shorts. He is preparing to strike the football in front of him.

Isak Hansen-Aarøen leaves SV Werder Bremen. The 21-year-old makes the move with immediate effect to Dutch top-flight side NEC Nijmegen, as announced on Sunday by SVW's head of professional football Peter Niemeyer.

“It is no secret that we have tried to find a solution with Isak to help him progress from a sporting standpoint. We have now achieved this with his transfer to Nijmegen. We wish him all the best personally, as well as for his new endeavour”, said Niemeyer.

Hansen-Aarøen arrived at SV Werder Bremen nearly two years ago. In January 2025, he joined Danish side Aalborg BK on loan for half a year. During his time in Bremen, the Norwegian made four brief appearances in the Bundesliga and played six times for the Green-Whites’ U23 side.
