125 years of Werder Bremen. It's back - the legendary tracksuit of our long-time coach Otto Rehhagel!
"King Otto" is still the coach who has been in charge of our Green-Whites the longest. He led Werder Bremen to promotion back to the first Bundesliga in 1981 and five major titles followed. It's no wonder that not only he, but also his tracksuit have become a cult at Osterdeich.
Hummel is reviving Otto Rehhagel's trademark for our 125th anniversary:
The design is based on the legendary tracksuits from his Bremen era and makes it into the modern era with a polished look: made to commemorate a whole special green and white era and to be worn in the now.
Colored in dark blue, lilac and pastel green, the design is rounded off by the corresponding logos: hummel angles on the sleeves and trouser legs, the hummel lettering on the chest and left trouser leg as well as the Werder diamond on the left (heart) side and right trouser leg. The signature of our long-time head coach Otto Rehhagel is embroidered at the bottom right of the back and under the collar his cult slogan "Modern spielt - wer gewinnt." ("Modern plays - who wins.") as lettering.
