Füllkrug undergoes more knee surgery

Niclas Füllkrug has had to have additional knee surgery in the past few days, said Werder's head coach Florian Kohfeldt on Sunday. The surgery will not affect the comeback fate of the striker, who suffered knee ligament damage in September - the striker will still not play for Werder again this season. 

The summer signing will continue with his rehab. Füllkrug was able to complete soome light training sessions at the start of February. The latest operation was medically necessary for him in order to come back strong and healthy.
