+++ First Bundesliga start for Lukas Fröde: In the weekend's game against Ingolstadt, home-grown talent Lukas Fröde got his first Bundesliga start in a Werder kit. It was somewhat surprising that Skripnik decided to play Fröde, even for the youngster. "I got the news on Saturday afternoon. I was happy and could barely wait to get out on the pitch." He played the full 90 minutes. +++

+++ Comeback with the U23s: after ongoing knee problems, full back Ulisses Garcia made his comeback with the U23 side. He played a full 90 minute match for the first time this calendar year. +++
