SV Werder Bremen wishes all Werder fans a joyful and prosperous 2026!
The Bundesliga men’s team kick off their preparations for the remainder of the season on Friday afternoon, 02.01.2026, at 14:00 CET. Those preparations then ramp up when Werder travel to face FC St. Pauli for a friendly match on Sunday, 04.01.2026 (kick-off 15:30 CET). The meeting with SVW’s league rivals serves as a final dress rehearsal before Bundesliga football returns on matchday 15, when the Green-Whites take on TSG Hoffenheim.
Since the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga resumes at a later date, the Werder women’s team will only begin their preparations on 5th January. Head coach Fritzy Kromp will then oversee a training camp with the team in Oliva Nova in Spain between 11th and 17th January 2026 but not before a friendly fixture for SVW away to AZ Alkmaar (10.01.2026). The Green-Whites return to top-flight action sitting third in the table and will welcome 1. FC Nürnberg for their matchday 15 clash on Sunday, 25.01.2026, at 14:00 CET.
