SV Werder Bremen have received some bad news at the start of the new week. Julian Malatini will play no further part for the Green-Whites this season.
The Argentine defender suffered a syndesmosis ligament tear in his ankle during the game against 1. FSV Mainz 05. An MRI scan on Monday confirmed the injury. “It’s incredibly disappointing – not just for Werder, but above all for Julian. He was just starting to find his rhythm and get regular football.
