SV Werder Bremen picked up their second win in as many pre-season games on Wednesday evening. The Green-Whites took on fourth-tier side VfB Oldenburg. One day before the team head to Zillertal, head coach Markus Anfang shared his opinion on the first two friendlies: "We can't expect everything to be working perfectly right away. A lot of moves were good, but there were also a lot of individual mistakes in our game. But overall, it's very positive that no one got injured and everyone got a chance to play. We can continue to work on that in the training camp."

Similarly to the friendly against Lohne, head coach Markus Anfang lined up in a 4-3-3 with one defensive midfielder and two wingers.

Starting XI: Dos Sanstos Haesler - Jung, Bittencourt, Füllkrug, Agu, Rapp, Nankishi, Erras, Mbom, M. Eggestein, Dinkci

Substitutes: Zetterer – Möhwald, Schmid, Schmidt, J. Eggestein, Park, Badjie, Gruev, Philipp, Gross, Straudi, Woltemade, Mina
