Ole Werner: “I’m going into the break in good spirits, because I’ve worked well with all the staff here in the last few weeks- they have all played an important part, too. I’m feeling positive, but I know we still have a lot of work ahead of us. Right now, we’re going to spend two or three days around Christmas not thinking about football, and then we’ll begin to look ahead to the rest of the season and I’m looking forward to that.”
Frank Baumann: “Yes, results are important. We don’t need to speak too much about that. It’s also about trusting a certain process, sticking to it, growing and getting better. I think that the last three wins have been very important for that and for our league position. We’re back in and around the top of the table again. We dropped a few points in the first half of the season because of our performances were too inconsistent. That’s something we’ll need to do better after Christmas. But you saw in the last few games that we’ve found ourselves as a team and that we are positive in being successful.”
Marvin Ducksch: “A great feeling! That’s exactly what we wanted to achieve in the last three games of the year, to stay within touch of the top. We’ve done that brilliantly and you can see our continued improvement week-by-week. Of course, everything isn’t perfect, but you can see in every phase of play that we have a plan and now it’s time for us to unwind over the break, enjoy the few days we have off and then crack on again in the new year.”
