Kevin Vogt: “There were too many things that we did wrong. Our mistakes allowed the opponent to get back into the game. Playing simple football was the reason we were successful at the start. Instead of continuing to play one- or two-touch football, we invited the opponent into tackles. That didn’t help us.”
Florian Kohfeldt: “It feels like a defeat. We definitely dropped two points today. For 20 minutes we probably played as well as we have all season. We completely shut them out and could have extended our lead even further. Then some of our players were perhaps trying too hard, with good intentions; either making a run too early or taking too long to get back into shape. Then suddenly we fell apart again. After they made it 2-1 we pushed higher up again in the second half, and started well. Then it went to 2-2 and the game was wide open again. We got ourselves back into the game and had some great chances through Milos and Josh. We’ll take the point and we’re now just three points behind Düsseldorf, even though they play on Sunday. If it comes to it we’ll have to save ourselves through the play off."
