Yuya Osako has officially left Werder Bremen and returned to his home country of Japan. The 31-year-old forward joins Vissel Kobe in the J1 League with immediate effect after the two clubs came to an agreement over a transfer.
Yuya Osako has officially left Werder Bremen and returned to his home country of Japan. The 31-year-old forward joins Vissel Kobe in the J1 League with immediate effect after the two clubs came to an agreement over a transfer.
“Yuya expressed his desire to leave the club and return to Japan. With the transfer to Vissel Kobe, we found a solution that suits all parties. We wish Yuya all the best for his future both on and off the field,” said Werder Bremen sporting director, Frank Bauman.
Yuya Osko joined Werder in 2018 from 1. FC Köln and made 87 appearances for the club, scoring 15 goals. The Japan international now returns to his native country after seven and a half years in Germany
