“After spending last year on loan, David told us that he would like a sporting change and we didn’t want to deny him that. He’s found an ambitious club in Viktoria Köln and we’d like to wish him all the best,” said Frank Baumann.
David Philipp joined Werder’s academy in 2014 from HEBC Hamburg. Aside from appearing for various youth sides, he played 18 times for our U23s. The midfielder spent last season on loan at ADO Den Haag.
