Felix Agu has committed his future to SV Werder Bremen! The 22-year-old signed an early contract extension with the Green-Whites, announced sporting director Frank Baumann on Sunday.
“Felix has come on tremendously as a player since joining us. He’s shown he constantly wants to work on his game, he’s played well in several different positions and his performances in this season in particular have been very consistent. We’re very pleased that he will be staying with us here at SVW,” commented Frank Baumann.
Head coach Ole Werner was equally thrilled about the news. “The contract extension is confirmation of his development. His performances at the moment are very consistent and I’m convinced that if continues to work hard, he has a bright future at Werder Bremen.”
“The club have given me the feeling that I can develop a lot as a player here, and I’d like to play lots of football and put in good performances.”
Felix Agu signed for Werder Bremen in summer 2020 from VfL Osnabruck. He made 15 appearances for the Green-Whites in the Bundesliga, scoring one goal, and has played 15 times for SVW in the Bundesliga 2, and he’s made 43 appearances in the second-tier throughout his entire career.
