SV Werder have no new injury problems from the home win over FC Augsburg as they prepare to face Borussia Mönchengladbach on Tuesday. Head coach Florian Kohfeldt did however have to be prepared to travel to Gladbach without captain Niklas Moisander and Davie Selke after the pair initially returned inconclusive results in the latest round of Coronavirus testing.

However, it was good news for the Kohfeldt and the team after Moisander and Selke each recorded negative results in their following tests, giving them the all-clear to travel to Gladbach.

With the exception of Niclas Füllkrug, who is set to miss a significant part of February due to an ankle ligament injury, and Ludwig Augustinsson, who the coach explained will miss this week, the squad which faced Augsburg are available going into Tuesday evening’s game (18:30 CET kick-off). Christian Groß will return to training after the conclusion of the week.
