Werder to play friendly against SV Meppen in Cloppenburg

SV Werder Bremen will play a friendly during the international break next month. The Green-Whites will face 3. Liga side SV Meppen on Saturday 8th September, with the game kicking off at 15:00 CEST at the pk-Sportpark in Cloppenburg.

The two sides last played each other in a friendly in October 2017. The game finished 3-3, with Aron Johannsson, Ousman Manneh and Jerome Gondorf scoring the goals for Werder.

There’ll also be some familiar faces in the SV Meppen team for the game in September. Max Wegner (2011-2015) and Jeroen Gies (2007-2013) both used to play for Werder.
