Florian Kohfeldt: “Hoffenheim deserved to go in front. After they did we played a good game and had a lot of good chances but couldn’t get the goal we needed. That’s why I’m slightly annoyed by the result. The style of our football and our overall development were positive, though. We will recoup now and go to Leipzig on Saturday with the aim of getting the win.”
Davy Klaassen: “I don’t think I’ve ever played a game where a team has had so many chances and so few goals.”
Frank Baumann: “Hoffenheim were better at the start and deserved to go in front. In the second half we were braver and more convincing, which is important for our game.”
Ludwig Augustinsson: “Above all, I think we played well in the second half. We had chances and should have scored at least one goal. The guys showed today that we’re a strong team.”
Kevin Möhwald: "We put in the effort and the performance, but there are days when the ball doesn't want to go in the net."
Max Kruse: “At the end of the day you need to win these games when you want to play in the big leagues. Today we could have got the three points. There are days, however, when the ball just doesn’t want to go in the net.”
