Werder head coach Florian Kohfeldt is confident that Theodor Gebre Selassie will be fit for the game against TSG Hoffenheim (Saturday 11th May, 15:30 CEST). “It’s looking good with him. He’ll also train with the team today. He’s an experienced player. We’ll decide on it in close consultation with him,” said Florian Kohfeldt.

Philipp Bargfrede and Fin Bartels won’t play again this season, on the other hand. “Both players unfortunately won’t play again this season. That’s the end of it,” said Kohfeldt. Speaking about Fin Bartels’ injury, the Werder head coach said: “It wasn’t a particularly bad muscle injury, but he unfortunately picked up another injury during his rehab. He won’t be able to play again this season, but he’s not in danger of missing any of pre-season.”

Davy Klaassen isn’t available for the game due to suspension for five yellow cards. Florian Kohfeldt didn’t reveal who would be starting against TSG Hoffenheim this weekend.
