Maximilian Eggestein: "We’ve been brought back to reality and now we need to start working immediately to get back to playing to our strengths. We’re able to analyse that clearly, however, and get a grip on it soon. We could have been up there with a win. Now we’re not. On Saturday we can show how good we are."
Davy Klaassen: "It’s our own fault. We were well prepared, but the game was just bad. I don’t care who our next opponent is, we simply need to do better."
Florian Kohfeldt: "There’s no need to start panicking, but we need to speak clearly about certain things. This is a great bunch of guys and they’re sitting in the changing room now sad and angry, questioning their own performance. That’s how it should be. We all need to take a look at our performance, both myself in how I prepared the team and the boys on the pitch. We didn’t give everything we had today, which annoys me a lot."
Claudio Pizarro: "It’s a difficult situation now. These things happen. We need to try start moving forward again and win the next game."
