Max Kruse suffered a bruised thigh in the game against FC Bayern on Saturday. The injury came about in a challenge with Joshua Kimmich in the 38th minute.

It’s unclear whether Kruse will be available for the DFB-Pokal semi-final this Wednesday: “We’ll monitor him intensively for two days. We hope that he’ll be available in the DFB-Pokal,” said Florian Kohfeldt. The game kicks off at 20:45 CEST in the Weserstadion.
