The 19-year-old arrives from the BVB youth setup and will now continues his development at Werder. “Jan-Niklas is an exciting prospect that can play anywhere on the left side of the pitch. He’s currently recovering from a knee injury, but he will train with the first team once his rehab period is over. It’s likely that he will get the majority of his game time with the U23s this season, however,” explains Frank Baumann.
Beste is looking forward to this next step in his career: “Werder are a fantastic, traditional club and I hope to be able to continue developing here.”
Jan-Niklas Beste came up through the academy at Borussia Dortmund. The Germany Under-19 international has played for numerous BVB youth teams during his time there.
