The DFL have confirmed the Bundesliga games from the seventh to fourteenth matchdays. In these eight games, SV Werder will play two on Friday, three on Saturday as well as three Sunday games. The Green Whites will face VfL Wolfsburg in the Weser-Stadion at 20:30 CEST on Friday 5th October. On the next matchday, Florian Kohfeldt’s side will travel to the Veltins-Arena to face Schalke on 20th October for an 18:30 kick off.
Two Sunday games will then follow, against Bayer Leverkusen on the 28th October and Mainz 05 on the 4th November, with both games kicking off at 18:00. Werder have a Saturday game on Matchday 11 when Borussia Mönchengladbach visit the Weser-Stadion, kick off at 15:30. The Green Whites will then have another Sunday game facing SC Freiburg on 25th November, which will also kick off at 15:30.
The Green Whites play two home games in a row on Matchdays 13 and 14. Firstly, the champions come to town as Max Kruse, Nuri Sahin and Co. face FC Bayern München on Saturday 1st December at 15:30. Werder will then host Fortuna Düsseldorf. The newly-promoted side visit the Weser-Stadion on Friday 7th December, kick off at 20:30.
