The first-round tie between SV Atlas Delmenhorst and SV Werder Bremen will take place at Werder’s home, as announced on Wednesday by the DFB. The game will be played at Werder’s wohninvest WESERSTADION. SV Atlas will still be considered the hosts and home team.
Ticket details for the tie will be finalised this week, with the two parties and WESERSTADION owners working together to come to a solution which should be presented in the near future. Fans who have pre-ordered tickets for an away tie will be informed via e-mail, with the initial bookings now becoming invalid.
The two clubs have agreed that the Ostkurve will remain exclusive to Werder fans. SV Atlas will be entitled to the complete Westkurve, with both standing- and seating places available. The usual regulations for members and season ticket holders will not apply for this game. Further information on ticket allocation will be released as soon as possible after discussions with Atlas Delmenhorst.
