Luca Caldirola has today left Werder Bremen to sign for Italian second division side Benevento Calcio.

“We thank Luca for his performances and wish him all the best for the future,” said Frank Baumann. Caldirola signed for the Green-Whites back in 2013, playing 46 Bundesliga and two DFB-Pokal games for the club. He spent the 2015-16 season on loan at 2. Bundesliga side Darmstadt 98.
