“The transfer is almost done, but we just need to finalise a few more details. Since Fin’s injury, we have been looking for a player who has that sort of speed and similar attacking traits to Fin. Milot is a player, who fits this criteria perfectly and will help us from the off. I am going on the assumption that he will be training with the team from tomorrow,” Frank Baumann explained.
“I am really excited for this new challenge at Werder. The Bundesliga is one of the best leagues in the world and Werder are club with lots of tradition and history,” Milot Rashica said, who will be reunited with his former teammate Yuning Zhang in Bremen.
Milot Rashica came through the ranks at FK Kosovo Vushtrri and moved to Vitesse Arnhem in 2015. He has played 19 times for the Dutch side this season and scored three goals. He also won the KNVB Cup last season. The 21-year-old has played eleven times for the Kosovo national team.
