Rehab coach Jens Beulke along with youngsters Thore Jacobsen and Yuning Zhang were first out on to the training pitch today shortly after 10 o’clock. The boys were put through their paces with some sprint training and stability work. Yuning Zhang is supposed to be back in first-team training in a few weeks after he tore his left thigh muscle, whilst away on international duty with China U23s.
Jacobsen and Zhang then made way for the first-team, as they came out for their first session of the day. Florian Kohfeldt along with the rest of the training staff had prepared a few exercises for the boys after a morning weights session at the Weser-Stadion. After their usual warm up, the boys’ main focus was on their passing and finishing.
After a lunch break, the first-team will be back out on the pitch for a public training session out on the pitch at 14:30 CET.
