Lennart Thy has been loaned out to VVV-Venlo. The SV Werder striker will move to the Dutch top-tier side with immediate effect, as was revealed by Werder’s director of football Frank Baumann on Wednesday at noon.

“In Venlo we’ve found a club for Lennart where he’ll be able to get game time whilst playing at a high level. The Eredivisie is an interesting league for attacking players in particular,” said Baumann on the 25-year-old’s move. Lennart was most recently loaned out to FC St. Pauli in the second-half of last season.
