The kick-off times for the first six Bundesliga games the 2017/18 season have been announced. The German Football League (DFL) have published the dates and kick-off times of the first six matches and Werder play four of their first six games at 15:30 CEST on Saturdays.
Werder's opening game of the new Bundesliga season against 1899 Hoffenheim wil kick-off "at the best Bundesliga kick-off time" and so will the Green-Whites' second Bundesliga appointment of the season against defending champions Bayern Munich. The home matches against Schalke 04 and SC Freiburg are also Saturday 15:30 games. The away match in Berlin is at the same time, but on a Sunday and the match in Wolfsburg is scheduled for a Tuesday evening at 20:30 CEST.
