Werder’s head coach Florian Kohfeldt will be missing captain Zlatko Junuzović on Saturday afternoon (17th February, KO 15:30 CET). “Zlatko’s muscle problems in his thigh have improved, but it won’t be enough for an appearance on Saturday. We’re confident that he’ll be able to return to training next week,” explains Florian Kohfeldt.
Things are looking better for Philipp Bargfrede, Aron Jóhannsson and Jiri Pavlenka, who all trained individually on Wednesday. “All three will return to training today and will be available to play on Saturday,” says Werder’s head coach ahead of Thursday’s training session, which will take place behind closed doors in the Weser-Stadion.
