A life without smartphones - for many, it’s simply unimaginable. The Werder first team squad always take their mobile phones with them to away games, to the training ground and use them on a daily basis. 'My Last Time' puts the Werder first team under the microscope to see what they really do on their mobiles. Today's edition features Jiri Pavlenka.
# My last phone call… was with my parents. My father came to Bremen to help me move. I just wanted to know if he got home safely.
# My last WhatsApp message… was to Dustin Haloschan, a colleague from our support staff. It was about internet in our new house, and he answered. I’ll soon have internet at home.
# My last photo… I’m not someone who likes to take selfies; I don’t like to take photos of myself. The last photo on my phone is of my dog. I have French Bulldog called barney, she came to Bremen with me along with my girlfriend.
# My last song… was a Czech song. I might have to lie; I don’t know what it was called. Everyone is probably thinking now it was Karel Gott (laughs).
# My last mobile game that I played… I haven’t had much time recently to play games. That was a long time ago. I think both of my last games were ‘Soccer Stars’ and ‘Hockey Stars’.
# The last thing I’d do with my phone… It depends (laughs). You never know what’ll happen. Honestly it could happen that, if I’m really, really angry, I throw my phone at the wall. Maybe you won’t believe that because I’m often so quiet in public.
# The feeling when I last lost my phone… that was too long ago. I don’t forget my phone. I’m not a very organised guy, I often forget things, but not my phone (laughs).
