Izet Hajrovic has left SV Werder. The Bosnian international has signed for Dinamo Zagreb with immediate effect. Frank Baumann, Werder's sporting director, released the news on Wednesday.
"Izet didn't have an easy time here because of his long time out with injury. Despite that he has always been a complete professional in the way he has gone about things. We thank Izet for his performances in a Werder shirt in the last few years and we wish him all the best for the future," Baumann explained.
Hajrovic moved to Werder from Galatasaray in the summer of 2014. The Swiss-born midfielder had a long spell on the sidelines after a cruciate ligament rupture and played on loan at the La Liga side SD Eibar. He played in 38 Bundesliga games and three DFB-Pokal ties for Werder, scoring three goals.
