Groningen, which is around 185 km away from Bremen, is not the only place where Werder will play a friendly on the last weekend of July. The Green-Whites are already set to play Arminia Bielefeld on Friday 27th July. Following the two friendlies, Werder will travel back to Lohne in Germany. Jiri Pavlenka, Max Kruse and Co. will play another friendly there against VVV Venlo on Monday 30th July.
