Kicking off the DFB-Pokal week

It’s becoming serious! The Werder players began their week of training on Tuesday ahead of the kick-off of their first competitive game against Würzburger Kickers. The boys worked in the weights room in the morning before heading over to the pitch in the afternoon. Head coach Alexander Nouri is returning to his familiar successful routine.

Jérôme Gondorf was missing due to illness and Zlatko Junuzovic had to sit out training again. Werder will play Würzburger Kickers on Saturday (12th August) at 20:45 CEST.
