Garcia joins Nürnberg on loan

Ulisses Garcia has completed an immediate loan move to 1. FC Nürnberg until the end of the season. The two clubs confirmed the deal Friday lunchtime.

Ulisses is a young, talented player and we’re convinced of his ability. We hope that he can get game time in the second half of the season and then returns in summer to be an option for the squad,” said sporting director Frank Baumann.

The 21-year-old Swiss left-back joined Werder from Grasshoppers in Zurich during summer 2015. He has made 19 Bundesliga appearances so far, as well as playing in four DFB-Pokal fixtures.
