The Green-Whites are busy from early in the morning right until late in the evening with a full and intensive programme at their training camp in Zillertal. WERDER.DE provides all fans with an update after yesterday’s emergency in the friendly match against Ajax.

Day 3, Sunday, 09/07/2017:

+++ Journey through valley: Zillertal is home to one of the most popular valleys among tourists in the world and the Werder players were able to discover it for themselves on Sunday morning on a cycling trip. The players were out and about for approximately one hour before heading home. +++

+++ Filbry to remain chief executive: SV Werder extended Klaus Filbry’s contract on Sunday morning. Filbry will be with the club until at least 2020. +++

Bartels and Veljkovic arrive: Werder’s full squad are now all present at the training camp as Fin Bartels and Milos Veljkovic joined the Green-Whites on Sunday. Whilst Veljkovic drove from Basel, his home city, Bartels arrived a little later in the day due to his travel arrangements. A total of 26 players are now there. +++

Muscle injury: Niklas Moisander was supposed to play an entire half but had to be brought off prematurely after the man from Finland picked up a muscle injury. An MRT on Monday is expected to reveal the exact issue. Only then will it be determined how long Moisander will have to wait before returning to action. +++

+++ No training on the pitch: Delaney, Augustinsson and co. were given the afternoon off. They will return to training on Monday, which will include three public sessions. +++
