SV Werder Bremen secure another hot talent for the long-term. Ole Käuper extended his involvement with Werder on Thursday and signed his first professional contract at the Weserstadion.
“We’re delighted that Ole has decided to continue his involvement with the club. His strong performances on the pitch in recent weeks have been convincing and have helped the U23s get their season off to a fine start. We’re confident that he can develop into a player with the potential to make the step into our Bundesliga team,” says sporting director Frank Baumann.
“Having grown up in Bremen, it’s always been my dream to play for Werder in the Bundesliga. To now sign my first professional contract is the first step to make my dream a reality, but I know that there’s still a long way to go, which is why I’m going to keep working hard to reach my goal,” says Ole Käuper.
Ole Käuper has played for SV Werder Bremen since 2005 and has gone through the Green-Whites’ youth teams. He made his debut for Werder’s U23 team on 23rd October 2015 in a third-tier home game against Erzgebirge Aue. The 20-year-old has made 46 appearances in Germany’s third-tier during which he has scored once and made one assist.
