The picturesque Austrian town of Zillertal is again SV Werder Bremen's first destination of pre-season. The team will be there for a little over a week from the 5th to the 14th of July 2017, it will be the sixth time the Green-Whites have prepared for the coming season there.
Just like many Werder players before them, Gnabry, Kruse and Co. will prepare for the new season in the scenic Zillertal – it will be the Green-Whites’ first summer training camp of pre-season. “We look forward to being able to use the perfect facilities in Zell am Ziller for the sixth time. Year on year the conditions there have been improved – the training facilities are perfect and the way from the hotel to the training grounds is short. What’s more, the scenery is unique, the climate is great and the whole Werder family feel good in Zell am Ziller. Also, Zillertal is a great destination for the fans that want to accompany us there,” explained sporting director Frank Baumann.
