Summary: The exciting finish was testimony to the way the two sides attacked the closing stages. Nouri’s side put on a solid display in the first half without creating too many chances. The Green and Whites were the better team in the second half too. It took a free kick and a little bit of luck for Claudio Pizarro to make the breakthrough and draw level. Man of the Match was Felix Wiedwald. A very well deserved point against a defensive Leverkusen side was the final result to extend the unbeaten run to four games. Next Saturday RB Leipzig will come to the Weser Stadion for a 15.30 kick off.
