Lamine Sané has fought his way back to team training after overcoming a knee injury. The defender is back just in time to take part in preparations for the Nordderby at the weekend, after suffering a slight tear to his LCL against Freiburg three weeks ago. The Senegal international was back in training for the first time this Wednesday.

Apart from Luca Caldirola, who is continuing his recovery, and Ulisses García, who is suffering from knee problems, all of the Green-White players were on the training pitch on Wednesday, preparing for the clash with HSV at the weekend. Justin Eilers didn't train with the rest of the squad, but carried out an individual programme next to the team on another pitch.
