A life without a smartphone - unthinkable for so many. Mobiles are also a standard part of everyday life for Werder pros too, whether it be on long away trips, on training camps or when they are off the pitch. We put one of the most important items of a Werder player under the microscope - what was the last picture you looked at? What was the last app you had open and who did you message most recently? This edition of My Last Time features Claudio Pizarro.

# My last call… was with my wife. She  told me that she was going into the city to get some food wih friends. She was just calling to let me know! (Laughs)

# My last message… was from my son and had a similar theme. He asked whether I could go for lunch with him, but I had just had some treatment and had to cancel.

# My last email… was a plane ticket that I bought. Where it is going is my secret, though!

# My last photo… is from last weekend from a restaurant. I took a photo of my food and posted it straight onto my private Instagram channel.

# My last liked post on Instagram… was a picture of Rafinha, my former team-mate at Bayern. He posted a picture of the shirt for his 200th official Bayern appearance. We are still very close friends.

# My last song… was one I listened to while on the bike in the gym yesterday called ‘Me rehúso’ by Danny Ocean. I cannot tell you exactly what it means in German, but it means something like “I actually do not want that, but you try and try and I always refuse”.

# The app I used most recently… it was a news app. I get a lot of information about my homeland Peru and use “El comercio,” the app for the biggest Peruvian newspaper. My whole family still live in Peru.

# My latest addition… is the app “Blood Horse.” It is the app for a new American horse magazine, and I always like to look at the latest news about the horses, results from the races, reports of how horses are training and how fit they are.

# The last time that I willingly turned off my phone… I do not turn off my phone unless there are technical problems. Then I just restart it. Normally I switch it into flight mode, and it is always on silent anyway.

# The last WhatsApp group I posted a message in… was in a group of friends that were here in Bremen. Alejandro Gálvez, Franco Di Santo and Santi Garcia are all in it, along with a Venezuelan friend of mine who lives here, and of course me. It is our Latin Chat! (Laughs).

 # The last event I put in my calendar… I do not use that programme and do not have a calendar plan. I just keep all of it in my head. I only use the alarm clock. I actually just got up from a quick nap! (Laughs).

# The last thing I would ever do with my phone… I would never play with it. I just do not like that, even when I am bored. I use it to check the news or check Twitter for the latest updates.

# The feeling I had last time I forgot my phone… that is not much of a problem for me, especially if I am travelling with my wife and kids. If I need it after training or after treatment, I quickly rush back to the house to get the phone, but it is not something I always need to have on me.
