Thanos Petsos has completed an immediate loan move to London club Fulham. The Greek midfielder will remain at the Championship’s current ninth-placed side until the end of the season. Werder sporting director Frank Baumann confirmed the move on Thursday evening.
“We held positive talks with Thanos. A loan move to Fulham is a good solution. We’re happy for Thanos that we have been able to find a challenge for him at a high level and wish him good luck in the coming months,” said Baumann.
Thanos Petsos joined SV Werder Bremen from Rapid Vienna in the summer and has made three Bundesliga appearances to date.
