+++ Green light?: Max Kruse was unable to take part in training on Wednesday due to a muscle strain in his thigh, making his participation in tomorrow’s game with RB Leipzig uncertain. “There is definitely hope that he will be given the green light” said coach Alexander Nouri on the potential involvement of his attacker on Thursday. The boss could be more confident on the inclusion of Thomas Delaney. “Thomas has come through all the training sessions this week and will definitely play.” Philipp Bargfrede will definitely miss out as he undergoes rehab on a torn tendon in his thigh. He is hoping to return to training next week. +++

+++ Gnabry called up for friendlies: German U-21 national coach Stefan Juntz has selected Serge Gnabry in his squad for the upcoming friendlies against England and Portugal. Gnabry and co. will face England in Wiesbaden on Friday 24 March and Portugal in Stuttgart on Tuesday 28 March. Both games will be a good warm up for this summer’s European championships in Poland. The U21 Euros will run from 16 June to 30 June. +++

Up for the accolade along will RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita and Ousmane Dembélé of Borussia Dortmund is Serge Gnabry, who helped Werder to an away win against Wolfsburg after a brace.
