The 36-year-old came out of the operation feeling good. "Everything went optimally. I feel good and will return to Bremen this evening to continue my rehab," Fritz told WERDER.DE. Fritz injured his ankle during the home match against SV Darmstadt at the start of March, before undergoing surgery four days later in Tübingen.
