Justin Eilers is in the SV Werder squad for a Bundesliga match for the first time. Head coach Alexander Nouri has called upon the 28-year-old for the away match at Eintracht Frankfurt. Full-back Luca Zander is also available for the Green-Whites for the first time this season. “I’m glad to be finally in the squad after such a long time,” Eilers told WERDER.DE.

A total of 18 players made the journey from Bremen to Frankfurt on Thursday afternoon, where they will go head to head with Eintracht on Friday, 7th April at 20:30 CEST.

Eilers missed the entire first half of the season after his move to the Weser due to a groin injury. The forward played seven matches for the U23s in the 3. Liga following the winter break.
