Fine and three match ban for Drobny

After receiving a red card in his last match against Borussia Dortmund, the DFB have fined Jaroslav Drobny 10,000 euros and suspended the goalkeeper for three matches. Until he serves his suspension, Drobny is prohibited from playing for Werder in all competitions.

In last weekend’s game (21/01/2017), the 37 year old was sent off by referee Daniel Siebert for a foul on BVB’s Marco Reus in the 39th minute. The player and club have accepted the DFB’s decision.
