Marnon Busch is set to leave SV Werder. After his loan officially ends at 1860 Munich, he’ll transfer to second-division club FC Heidenheim. Werder’s sporting director Frank Baumann announced the news on Friday afternoon.
“We observed Marnon’s development over the whole season and know he took an important step in his development by getting valuable match practice In Munich. Because of the competition in his position, it would have been hard for him to get appearances with us here,” said Baumann.
Marnon moved to the Green-White youth system in the summer of 2007. The full-back passed through Werder's U17s, U19s and U23s, before finally being included in the first team squad in the 2014/15 campaign. In total, Busch featured nine times in the Bundesliga and contested one DFB Cup game, as well as racking up 74 appearances for the U23s.
