Lennart Thy joins St. Pauli on loan

Werder striker Lennart Thy will leave SV Werder Bremen in January to re-join FC St. Pauli. The 24-year-old will spend the rest of the season on loan at the club that currently lies bottom of the 2. Bundesliga, with no option to buy. 

"Lennart faces a lot of competition in his position here. Because of that we came to the joint decision that it is important for him to be playing regularly at a good level. He has that opportunity at St. Pauli," explained Werder sporting director Frank Baumann.
