SV Werder Bremen will be without the services of Thomas Delaney for the time being. The Denmark international was taken off at half time of the Green-Whites' 3-0 home win over FC Schalke 04 with a left hamstring pull, per the results of Wednesday's scan.

"Of course it is bitter for us to lose an important player like Thomas. We have to see how his healing process goes before we can say how long he will be out," said Alexander Nouri of the injury to the Danish midfielder.
