If you are in attendance for SVW’s final home match of the season on Saturday against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, you should be in your seat and ready to go from 15:15 CEST. In the 15 minutes before kick off, the fans and club will say a farewell to long-serving captain Clemens Fritz. “It will be a very special moment when the captain leaves, and because of that we want to take the time to show our appreciation in his last official moments in the Weser-Stadion and do something unforgettable,” said Frank Baumann.

Fritz is not the only one saying goodbye to Bremen, as Florian Grillitsch and Santiago Garcia also prepare to make their departures at the end of the season. The management team will show their appreciation for the departing Werderaners in the moments just before kick off.

Beyond that, the team’s focus will be on looking to pick up another important three points against TSG. "We decided together with the team that we would have to say goodbye to Clemens Fritz 15 minutes before the start of the match, while the team can use that time to be completely focused on the 90 minutes ahead,” explained Baumann.
